Come and enjoy a wonderful evening in Ashby Folville, one of the most beautiful villages in the Midlands, and enjoy a fun evening out for all the family.
Back by popular demand is the fabulous Don Watson Band, who will, once again, be flying in from Denver, Colorado, USA especially for the concert.
Headlining Music in the Meadow for the sixth year, lead singers Don and Beth are fresh from a series of European capital city concerts, and a US tour.
Don and the band will be playing a fantastic range of music from across the decades – from the Beatles to Bruce Springsteen and Andrea Bocelli to Abba - there is music to suit everyone! They will even take requests on the evening so you can listen – and dance - to all of your favourite songs whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings of Ashby Folville Manor.
Two top local support bands: Dixie Jack, whose unique interpretation of Hill Billy Stomp is lively, fun and ‘in your face’, followed by Rock Bottom, of Leicester Tigers fame, are guaranteed to kick the evening off with a bang.
Bring your own picnic or a BBQ will be available at just £6 per head. Pimms and hot drinks will also be available on the night or you can pre-order your jugs of Pimms in advance.
Plus, you will be helping us raise funds for the Steps Conductive Education Centre, the Matt Hampson Foundation, set up by the Leicester Tigers Rugby player who was injured in 2005, and the Ashby Folville village charities.
Now in its seventh year, the event promises to be a fantastic night of fun and music against the stunning backdrop of Ashby Folville Manor.
