Music in the Meadow 2008
A wonderful time was had by all at the fourth Music in the Meadow event held on the evening of Saturday 9th August in Ashby Folville, one of the most beautiful villages in the Midlands.
An amazing £26,500 was raised for the STEPS Conductive Education Centre, Matt Hampson, the Leicester Tigers Rugby player who was injured in 2005, and Ashby Folville village charities.
The wonderfully traditional Irish folk band Govannan launched the evening's entertainment and then guests listened and danced to the magnificent Don Watson Band from Denver, Colarado USA until 12 midnight.
