How much of the ticket money is used for costs and expenses?

Not one penny of it. All the costs are met by our very generous sponsors.

How do I get tickets for Music in the Meadows 2011?

Simply click here to print off an order form. Please send the completed form together with your payment to the address shown or call our mail order hotline on 01509 622022. We have some very special offers if you book in advance. Click here to check out our special offers.

What time will the event start and finish?

The first band’s performance will start at 6pm with the other bands following on but the gates will open at 5.00pm for you to set up your picnic and start your party early. The event will finish at around 11.00pm.

How will I find the venue?

Just follow the signposts to Music in the Meadow in Ashby Folville, Leicestershire, LE14 2TE. Click here to print off a map.

Is Music in the Meadow a classical concert?

No, it is more like a pop concert without Heavy Metal!

How close to the venue can I park my car?

Parking will be in a nearby meadow but transport will be available to the concert site. This will allow you to easily transport your drinks, hampers and gazebos (if booked).

Are there any concessions?

Yes, under 16s only, at £5 per ticket. We also have introduced some very special offers if you book in advance. Click here to view our offers.

Can I bring my gazebo?

Yes but Gazebo plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked and paid for in advance. The cost is £30 per plot. Click here to check out our advance booking offers if you would like to book a gazebo and are bringing a group with you.

Will there be any drinks available on the night?

A bar selling wine and pre-booked jugs of Pimms will be available. You are welcome to bring your own drinks but please note, glasses will not be permitted.

Will there be any food available on the night?

Yes, for the first-time a BBQ will be available throughout the evening, at a cost of £6 per head. You are welcome to bring food hampers but as naked flames will not be permitted, personal barbecues will not be allowed.

Will toilets be available?

Toilet blocks will be provided at the concert site, including one for the disabled.

Which charities will benefit from the event?

This is a truly fantastic evening’s entertainment, with all of the monies taken going to charity. 70% of the proceeds will go to STEPS. 20% of the proceeds will go to the Matt Hampson Foundation and 10% will be donated to the Ashby Folville village charities – the church and village hall. Last year the money raised was £27,500.
